Precision Control in Any Space
The enemy is guesswork — and in a sealed environment, guesswork compounds silently. A fan running at the wrong speed creates a vapor pressure deficit that no manual adjustment catches in time. A controller that can't read temperature and humidity simultaneously leaves the operator reacting to symptoms rather than managing conditions. Equipment that operates in isolation — a fan here, a timer there, a probe that only reports — creates dead zones between data and action. Every hour those dead zones persist, atmospheric consistency degrades, and the gap between potential output and actual output widens without a single visible warning sign.
After deployment, the environment inside the 2x2 footprint operates on a closed feedback loop. The Controller 69 Cortex reads temperature, humidity, and VPD simultaneously through its built-in sensor and up to two additional corded probes, then issues automated commands to the inline fan and clip fan without operator intervention. Scheduling runs on programmed logic. Atmospheric deviations trigger corrective fan speed adjustments before conditions drift outside the target window. The operator monitors — the system executes.
The mechanism behind that outcome is a purpose-matched component stack. The CLOUDLINE LITE 4-inch inline fan delivers 165 CFM at a maximum of 29 dBA, drawing 35 W peak and 18 W average at 0.55 A, rated to 67,000 L10 hours on dual ball bearings, with a static pressure ceiling of 324 Pa — sufficient to drive air through carbon filtration in a sealed 2x2 without fan stall. The 6.5-inch clip fan circulates 325 CFM across the canopy at 25 Pa static pressure with a 90-degree rotation range and an identical 67,000-hour L10 bearing life. The Controller 69 UIS platform manages up to 8 devices natively (32 with splitters), operates on 100–240 V AC, connects via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and presents a 4.5-inch capacitive touch display with a 12-foot corded sensor probe for remote zone monitoring. The tent structure itself provides four 4-inch and three 6-inch duct openings, a 9.84 x 23.62-inch viewing window, a 5.90 x 14.17-inch side intake window, and 22 mm steel poles rated to 250 lb beam load. In practical terms, the AI Grow Tent System Compact 2x2 delivers automated atmospheric control across a 23.62 x 23.62 x 47.24-inch enclosed footprint with a 165 CFM ventilation capacity and a multi-sensor UIS controller operating at 100–240 V AC.
Where This Belongs (and Doesn't)
Electrical and HVAC infrastructure requirements are the responsibility of the installing operator. Verify that the installation circuit meets the voltage and amperage requirements of all connected devices before deployment. Consult a licensed electrician for any hardwired integration. This system is designed for use within the contiguous United States on standard 100–240 V AC circuits.
Optimal Deployment Contexts
- Single-plant production in a 23.62 x 23.62 x 47.24-inch enclosed footprint
- Facilities requiring automated VPD, temperature, and humidity scheduling without dedicated HVAC infrastructure
- Operators running multi-cycle programs who need repeatable atmospheric conditions across runs
- Environments where space constraints demand a compact, self-contained ecosystem rather than distributed equipment
- Operations integrating into a broader UIS device network via Controller 69 splitter expansion (up to 32 devices)
Outside Operational Scope
- Multi-plant canopy configurations exceeding the 1-plant, 5-gallon design capacity of this kit
- Footprints larger than 2x2 — see AC-PKB24, AC-PKB33, or AC-PKB44 for expanded configurations
- Applications requiring dedicated CO2 injection control not supported by the Controller 69 UIS port count without splitter expansion
- Outdoor or semi-outdoor installations outside the IP-44 rated operating range of 32–140°F and 35–85% RH
How It Works
The AI Grow Tent System Compact 2x2 operates as a closed-loop atmospheric control ecosystem. The Controller 69 serves as the Cortex of the system — a UIS Multi-Device Controller with a built-in temperature and humidity sensor, a 4.5-inch capacitive touch display, and a 12-foot corded external sensor probe that can be positioned independently within the canopy zone. It manages up to 8 UIS-connected devices natively, expandable to 32 with splitters, and communicates with the operator via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth app control. Operating voltage is 100–240 V AC at 2 W controller draw, with physical dimensions of 5.8 x 3.42 x 0.94 inches (14.9 x 8.7 x 2.4 cm).
Ventilation is handled by the CLOUDLINE LITE 4-inch inline fan. It moves 165 CFM at a peak of 2,800 RPM, generates no more than 29 dBA of acoustic output, and sustains 324 Pa of static pressure — the threshold required to maintain airflow through resistance-loaded ducting in a sealed enclosure. Max power draw is 35 W; average operating draw is 18 W at 0.55 A on a NEMA 1-15 Type-A connector. The fan accepts 100–240 V AC at 50/60 Hz, operates within 35–85% RH and 32–140°F, carries IP-44 ingress protection, and is rated to 67,000 L10 hours on dual ball bearings. Cord length to the controller is 10 feet; cord length to the plug is 8 feet. The fan supports both horizontal and vertical mounting positions. CE and RoHS certifications are confirmed.
Canopy-level air movement is delivered by the 6.5-inch clip fan. It circulates 325 CFM at 25 Pa static pressure across a 90-degree rotation range, drawing 0.15 A on a 100–240 V AC supply. Bearing construction is dual ball, rated to 67,000 L10 hours, with IP-44 ingress protection. Physical dimensions are 8.74 x 10.47 inches (22.2 x 26.6 cm).
The tent enclosure is constructed from Oxford outer material with a Mylar interior lining for maximum photon retention. The steel pole frame uses 22 mm diameter poles with a 250 lb beam weight capacity. Interior dimensions are 23.62 x 23.62 x 47.24 inches (60 x 60 x 120 cm). Duct openings include four 4-inch and three 6-inch ports. The viewing window measures 9.84 x 23.62 inches (25 x 60 cm); the side intake window measures 5.90 x 14.17 inches (15 x 36 cm). Two primary hanging bars plus one extra are included. The kit is configured for 1 plant in a 5-gallon container. In practical terms, the AI Grow Tent System Compact 2x2 delivers a 165 CFM ventilation capacity, 325 CFM canopy circulation, and multi-sensor automated atmospheric control across a 60 x 60 x 120 cm sealed enclosure operating on 100–240 V AC.

Operator Field Notes
- Duct Port Planning: The tent provides four 4-inch and three 6-inch duct openings. Map your intake, exhaust, and carbon filter routing before assembly — unused ports should be sealed to maintain negative pressure integrity.
- Sensor Probe Placement: The Controller 69's 12-foot corded sensor probe allows placement at canopy level independent of the controller's mounting position. Position the probe at the midpoint of the canopy, not at the tent ceiling, for accurate VPD readings.
- Fan Speed Scheduling: The CLOUDLINE LITE 4-inch fan operates at up to 2,800 RPM with a 324 Pa static pressure ceiling. If running a carbon filter in-line, verify that the filter's resistance rating does not exceed the fan's static pressure capacity at your target CFM setpoint.
- Clip Fan Positioning: The 6.5-inch clip fan's 90-degree rotation range and 325 CFM output are sufficient for stem-strengthening airflow across a single-plant canopy. Mount at mid-canopy height and angle toward the primary growth zone, not directly at the substrate surface.
- UIS Splitter Expansion: If integrating this unit into a multi-tent facility network, confirm UIS splitter compatibility with the Controller 69 before purchasing additional peripheral devices. Native capacity is 8 devices; splitter-expanded capacity is 32.
- Structural Load: The 250 lb beam capacity on 22 mm steel poles is rated for the hanging bar assembly. Distribute supplemental hardware loads across multiple hang points rather than concentrating weight on a single bar.
