The AC Infinity CLOUDLINE S8 is a 180W, 8-inch smart inline duct fan designed for facility directors to deliver precision atmospheric control across sealed commercial cultivation environments. Manufactured by AC Infinity Inc.

  • Outcome: Stable, automated airflow at 807 CFM with 39 dBA noise floor — eliminating manual speed adjustments and environmental drift across cultivation zones.
  • Replaces: Fixed-speed inline fans, manual damper systems, and uncontrolled passive exhaust configurations that introduce variance into sealed room environments.
  • Environment: Sealed commercial cultivation rooms, ducted HVAC boost applications, and multi-zone atmospheric control ecosystems requiring UIS-integrated fan management.

FACTORY-AUTHORIZED DEALER — CANNAFULL SPECTRUM SOLUTIONS

Deployed in licensed commercial facilities across the United States.

Key Specs: 180W | 807 CFM | 39 dBA | 746 Pa Static Pressure | 10-Speed PWM EC Motor | 67,000-Hour L10 Life | 2-Year Warranty

Kill Variance. Print Yield.

Every sealed room running on legacy infrastructure is bleeding yield through the same invisible drain: uncontrolled airflow. Fixed-speed fans run at full draw regardless of room demand, generating excess heat, acoustic interference, and static pressure mismatches that force operators into manual intervention cycles. When the fan can't respond to the room, the room responds to the fan — and the result is temperature stratification, humidity spikes, and canopy-level VPD drift that no lighting upgrade can compensate for. The variance isn't dramatic. It's chronic. And chronic variance is the most expensive line item on a facility's P&L that never appears on a report.

After deployment, the facility operates differently. The CLOUDLINE S8 reads room conditions through UIS-connected controllers and modulates airflow in real time — no manual dial adjustments, no fixed-speed thermal buildup, no dead zones between speed settings. Climate and time-based programming runs autonomously across the cultivation cycle, maintaining the atmospheric setpoints that canopy density and secondary metabolite expression depend on. Operators stop reacting to environmental drift and start managing by exception. The room holds its parameters. The canopy holds its uniformity. The harvest holds its weight.

The mechanism behind that stability is a PWM-controlled EC motor paired with a mixed-flow impeller design incorporating stator blades and hydrodynamic wind circles — an architecture that sustains 807 CFM of airflow at up to 746 Pa of static pressure, even in high-resistance ducted configurations where conventional AC motors stall or surge. At 39 dBA and 180W maximum draw, the unit operates below the acoustic and thermal thresholds that compromise sealed room environments. Ten discrete speed levels are accessible via the included wired controller or any UIS-compatible smart controller with dynamic climate and time-based programming, enabling multi-device integration across the full AC Infinity ecosystem. Dual ball bearings support an L10 life expectancy of 67,000 hours, eliminating the bearing-failure replacement cycles that interrupt production schedules. In practical terms, the CLOUDLINE S8 delivers 807 CFM at 746 Pa static pressure through an 8-inch duct at 180W maximum draw with a 39 dBA noise floor.

Where This Belongs (and Doesn't)

The CLOUDLINE S8 requires an 8-inch duct connection and a dedicated 100–240V AC circuit capable of supporting 180W continuous draw. UIS smart controller integration requires compatible AC Infinity UIS controller hardware sold separately. Verify duct sizing, static pressure budget, and circuit capacity before installation.

Engineered For

  • Sealed commercial cultivation rooms requiring automated atmospheric control
  • 8-inch ducted exhaust and fresh air exchange configurations
  • High static pressure applications where conventional fans lose airflow delivery
  • Multi-zone UIS ecosystem deployments with centralized controller management
  • HVAC boost installations transferring conditioned air across cultivation zones
  • Facilities requiring sub-40 dBA acoustic performance in occupied or adjacent spaces

Not Recommended For

  • Duct diameters other than 8 inches without appropriate reducer fittings
  • Installations requiring explosion-proof or ATEX-rated fan equipment
  • Outdoor or unenclosed installations without weatherproofing provisions
  • Applications requiring airflow volumes beyond 807 CFM — size up to CLOUDLINE S10 or S12
  • Facilities without compatible 100–240V AC circuit infrastructure

Infrastructure Note: The CLOUDLINE S8 fan unit measures 8.54 x 11.89 x 9.17 in. (21.7 x 30.2 x 12.3 cm) with mounting hole-to-hole spacing of 3.94 x 3.70 in. (10.0 x 9.4 cm) and a screw hole diameter of 0.217 in. (0.55 cm). The controller cord extends 120 in. (10 feet) from the fan unit; the power cord extends 96 in. (8 feet) to the plug. Confirm mounting clearance and cord routing before finalizing installation layout.

How It Works

The CLOUDLINE S8 is built around a PWM-controlled EC (electronically commutated) motor — a motor architecture that accepts direct pulse-width modulation signals from the included controller or any UIS-compatible smart controller, translating digital speed commands into precise impeller RPM without the voltage-stepping inefficiencies of conventional AC motor speed control. EC motors draw only the wattage required to maintain the commanded speed, which is why the S8 operates at a maximum of 180W while delivering 807 CFM — a power-to-airflow ratio that fixed-speed AC motors cannot match at equivalent duct sizes.

The impeller itself uses a mixed-flow design incorporating stator blades and hydrodynamic wind circles. Mixed-flow geometry combines the axial thrust of a propeller-style fan with the centrifugal pressure generation of a blower wheel, producing an airflow profile that maintains delivery volume even as downstream static pressure increases. At 746 Pa of rated static pressure, the S8 continues moving air through long duct runs, carbon filter assemblies, and multi-elbow configurations that would cause conventional inline fans to stall or surge. The stator blades straighten the airflow exiting the impeller, reducing turbulence-induced noise and improving pressure recovery — which is the primary reason the unit achieves 39 dBA at full operational output.

Speed management operates across 10 discrete levels via the included wired controller (dimensions: 3.34 x 2.95 x 0.51 in. / 8.5 x 3.6 x 1.3 cm). When connected to a UIS smart controller, the S8 gains access to dynamic climate-based programming — automatically modulating speed in response to temperature and humidity sensor data — and time-based scheduling for lights-on/lights-off airflow transitions. The UIS platform allows the S8 to operate as a coordinated node within a multi-device ecosystem, sharing data and control logic with other connected UIS devices across the facility. The motor box containing the impeller and blades detaches from the mounted frame for in-place cleaning and maintenance without requiring duct disconnection. Dual ball bearings support an L10 life expectancy of 67,000 hours, establishing a predictable service interval that facility maintenance schedules can be built around. In practical terms, the CLOUDLINE S8 delivers 807 CFM at 746 Pa through an 8-inch duct at 180W maximum draw, operating at 39 dBA with 10-speed PWM control and full UIS ecosystem integration.

System Integration

To operate this platform at peak efficiency, verify your ecosystem matches these requirements:

  • Controller Compatibility: The included wired 10-speed controller provides standalone operation. For dynamic climate and time-based programming, a UIS-compatible smart controller (sold separately) is required. The S8 integrates with all UIS controllers and can operate as part of a multi-device UIS network.
  • Duct Infrastructure: Requires 8-inch duct connections at inlet and outlet. Verify duct diameter, run length, and number of elbows to confirm the 746 Pa static pressure rating is sufficient for your specific configuration.
  • Electrical Circuit: Requires a 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz circuit rated for 180W continuous draw. Verify circuit capacity and breaker sizing before installation. The power cord extends 96 in. (8 feet) to the plug.
  • Mounting Structure: Mounting hole-to-hole spacing is 3.94 x 3.70 in. (10.0 x 9.4 cm) with 0.217 in. (0.55 cm) screw holes. Confirm structural support is adequate for the fan unit dimensions of 8.54 x 11.89 x 9.17 in. (21.7 x 30.2 x 12.3 cm).
  • HVAC Coordination: In sealed room deployments, integrate airflow calculations from the S8 into the facility's overall HVAC load and fresh air exchange budget. The 807 CFM output must be balanced against supply air volume to maintain neutral or negative room pressure as required by facility design.

Facility Integration Data

Use the figures below to model fleet-level operating cost and procurement planning across multi-unit deployments of the CLOUDLINE S8.

ROI Reference — Annual Operating Cost by Fleet Size

Electrical / Thermal

SKU W (W) BTU/hr Input V
AI-CLS8 180 614 100-240V AC

BTU/hr shown is computed from wattage using 3.412 BTU/hr per watt. Verify against manufacturer specifications.

Fleet cost estimates assume 18-hour daily operation at maximum rated draw. EC motor modulation will reduce actual draw at lower speed settings. Adjust for your facility's actual operating hours and utility rate.

Why This Over a Standard Inline Fan

  • Fixed-speed AC motors run at full draw regardless of room demand, generating excess heat and wasted energy at every operating hour: the CLOUDLINE S8 uses a PWM-controlled EC motor that modulates speed and draw in real time across 10 discrete levels — delivering only the airflow the room requires at 180W maximum draw.
  • Sleeve-bearing fan motors accumulate wear at a rate that forces unplanned replacement cycles and production interruptions: the CLOUDLINE S8 uses dual ball bearings rated to an L10 life expectancy of 67,000 hours, establishing a predictable service interval that maintenance schedules can be built around.
  • Single-speed controllers with no sensor integration leave operators manually adjusting airflow in response to environmental drift: the CLOUDLINE S8 integrates with the full UIS platform, enabling dynamic climate and time-based programming that modulates fan speed automatically in response to temperature and humidity data across connected devices.

Operator Field Note

  • Mounting Dimensions: Fan unit measures 8.54 x 11.89 x 9.17 in. (21.7 x 30.2 x 12.3 cm). Mounting hole-to-hole spacing is 3.94 x 3.70 in. (10.0 x 9.4 cm) with 0.217 in. (0.55 cm) screw hole diameter. Confirm structural support and clearance before installation — weight is not specified in manufacturer source data; verify with AC Infinity before overhead mounting in high-traffic zones.
  • Electrical Draw: Maximum power draw is 180W at 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz. Size the branch circuit and breaker accordingly. The power cord is 96 in. (8 feet) — plan outlet placement to avoid extension cord use on a 180W continuous load.
  • Controller Cord Routing: The controller cord extends 120 in. (10 feet) from the fan unit. In ceiling or high-mount installations, plan cord routing to keep the controller accessible at operator level without creating a trip or snag hazard.
  • Static Pressure Budget: Rated at 746 Pa. Before finalizing duct layout, calculate total system static pressure including filter resistance, duct length, and elbow count. Exceeding the rated static pressure will reduce airflow delivery below the 807 CFM specification.
  • Maintenance Access: The motor box containing the impeller and blades detaches from the mounted frame without requiring duct disconnection. Schedule periodic impeller cleaning as part of the facility's preventive maintenance program — debris accumulation on the impeller reduces airflow and increases motor load.
  • Acoustic Setpoint: Rated at 39 dBA at full speed. In facilities with adjacent occupied spaces or noise-sensitive monitoring equipment, operate at reduced speed levels via the 10-speed controller to maintain acoustic compliance.

Operator FAQ

Q: What circuit amperage is required to run the CLOUDLINE S8?

A: The CLOUDLINE S8 draws a maximum of 180W at 100–240V AC, 50/60Hz. At 120V, that equates to approximately 1.5A at full draw. At 240V, approximately 0.75A. A dedicated 15A branch circuit is more than sufficient for a single unit; however, if multiple units share a circuit, calculate total combined draw and verify the breaker rating accordingly. Always confirm circuit sizing with a licensed electrician per your local electrical code.

Q: What controller modes are available, and does the S8 require a UIS controller to operate?

A: No — the CLOUDLINE S8 includes a wired 10-speed fan controller and operates fully as a standalone unit without any additional controller hardware. The 10 speed levels are accessible directly from the included controller. For dynamic climate-based programming (automatic speed modulation in response to temperature and humidity sensor data) and time-based scheduling, a UIS-compatible smart controller is required and sold separately. When connected to the UIS platform, the S8 can also integrate with multiple other UIS devices for coordinated multi-zone atmospheric control.

Q: What is the recommended mounting height and orientation for the CLOUDLINE S8?

A: The CLOUDLINE S8 is an inline duct fan designed for in-line installation within an 8-inch duct run — it is not a ceiling or wall-mount exhaust fan. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically within the duct run depending on your facility layout. Mounting hole-to-hole spacing is 3.94 x 3.70 in. (10.0 x 9.4 cm) with 0.217 in. (0.55 cm) screw holes. Because manufacturer weight data is not specified in source documentation, verify the unit weight with AC Infinity before designing overhead structural supports. The controller cord extends 120 in. (10 feet) from the fan — factor this into mounting height decisions to keep the controller accessible.

Q: What airflow volume and duct size does the CLOUDLINE S8 support?

A: The CLOUDLINE S8 is rated for 807 CFM of total airflow through an 8-inch duct at up to 746 Pa of static pressure. It is designed exclusively for 8-inch duct connections. If your facility uses 6-inch or 10-inch duct infrastructure, AC Infinity offers other CLOUDLINE S series models (S6, S10, S12) sized to those duct diameters. Do not use reducer fittings to force the S8 into a smaller duct — this will increase static pressure beyond the rated specification and reduce airflow delivery.

Q: What is the lifespan of the CLOUDLINE S8 and what maintenance does it require?

A: The CLOUDLINE S8 carries an L10 life expectancy of 67,000 hours per manufacturer specification, supported by dual ball bearings. L10 life means that 90% of units are expected to reach or exceed this operating hour threshold before bearing failure. At 18 hours of daily operation, 67,000 hours represents approximately 10.2 years of service. Maintenance consists primarily of periodic impeller cleaning — the motor box detaches from the mounted frame without requiring duct disconnection, allowing in-place cleaning. No lubrication or bearing service is required during the rated service life.
