Kill Variance. Print Yield.
Every room running legacy HPS infrastructure is paying a variance tax it cannot see on the invoice. Lamp lumen depreciation begins the moment a bulb fires for the first time, and by the time a 1000W DE HPS fixture reaches the midpoint of its rated life, the canopy beneath it is receiving materially less photon energy than the room was designed to deliver. That degradation is silent, it is cumulative, and it compounds across every cycle. Add uneven point-source distribution that creates hot zones and shadow pockets across the same bench, layer in the manual overhead of physical dimmer adjustments and lamp swap scheduling, and the operational picture becomes clear: the facility is not running at the yield model it was built to hit. The enemy is not any single component failure — it is the aggregate drift that legacy infrastructure normalizes over time.
After deployment of the IONGRID T24, the operational picture changes at the infrastructure level. Canopy uniformity is no longer a function of lamp age or technician attention — it is a function of fixture geometry and programmed output. Scheduled photoperiods execute automatically, sunrise and sunset transitions run on defined curves, and backup memory holds the program through any power interruption. Lamp replacement cycles are removed from the maintenance calendar entirely. The facility runs the same photon delivery on day one of a cycle as it does on day sixty, and the control architecture that governs that output requires no manual intervention between scheduled audits.
The mechanism behind that operational stability is the IONGRID T24's four-sided halo form factor — a linear bar light architecture bent into a closed perimeter that distributes photon output from four angles simultaneously rather than from a single central point. The 560 Samsung LM301H diodes are arrayed across that perimeter and driven at 260W to produce 1728 PPFD across the 2 x 4 ft. target footprint at 2.75 µmol/J system efficacy. The spectral platform combines 660nm deep red, 730nm far-red, 3000K warm white, and 5000K cool white channels to support the full growth cycle from vegetative establishment through reproductive development. The raised LED driver sits on an aluminum heatsink with thermal compound interface, passively dissipating heat without fans or moving parts, eliminating both acoustic output and mechanical failure points in the thermal management system. The Digital Transition Controller ships with the fixture and provides 0–100% PWM dimming, programmable timers, cycle scheduling, and daisy-chain ports for multi-fixture coordination across a room. In practical terms, the IONGRID T24 delivers 1728 PPFD across a 2 x 4 ft. canopy at 260W draw, operating at 1.17A on 120V or 0.51A on 277V infrastructure.
Where This Belongs (and Doesn't)
Not recommended for circuits under ~2.17A @120V or ~1.08A @240V per fixture, or unsealed rooms lacking HVAC capacity for expected thermal load.
Minimum electrical requirement: a dedicated 15A circuit at 120V or equivalent at 240V/277V. HVAC load planning must account for the fixture's thermal output; consult your mechanical engineer before finalizing room layout.
Engineered For
- Licensed indoor cultivation facilities operating 2 x 4 ft. canopy footprints (veg and flower coverage: 2 x 4 ft.)
- Controlled-environment enclosures requiring uniform PPFD distribution without point-source hot zones
- Facilities transitioning away from HPS infrastructure seeking zero lamp-replacement maintenance cycles
- Multi-fixture rooms requiring coordinated dimming and schedule control via daisy-chained Digital Transition Controllers
- Operations running 100–277V AC infrastructure at 50/60 Hz
Not Recommended For
- Canopy footprints larger than 2 x 4 ft. without supplemental fixture coverage
- Outdoor or semi-outdoor installations where IP rating has not been independently verified for the deployment environment
- Facilities without stable 100–277V AC power infrastructure
- Operations requiring UV supplementation — the IONGRID T24 does not include a UV spectral channel; pair with IONBEAM U2 or U4 for targeted UV delivery
Infrastructure Note: The IONGRID T24 draws 1.17A at 120V, 0.58A at 240V, and 0.51A at 277V. Multi-fixture deployments must be load-calculated per circuit before installation. The Digital Transition Controller supports daisy-chaining; verify controller port capacity against total fixture count before commissioning.
How It Works
The IONGRID T24 begins with a form factor decision that separates it from conventional panel and bar configurations: the linear bar light architecture is bent into a four-sided closed perimeter — the halo — so that photon output originates from all four sides of the canopy boundary simultaneously. This geometry eliminates the center-heavy PPFD distribution that single-point and flat-panel fixtures produce, delivering a more uniform photon density map across the 2 x 4 ft. target footprint without requiring the operator to fine-tune mounting height to compensate for edge falloff.
The 560 Samsung LM301H diodes populating that perimeter are driven at 260W across four spectral channels: 660nm deep red for photosynthetic peak absorption, 730nm far-red for photoperiod signaling and canopy penetration, 3000K warm white for broad-spectrum vegetative support, and 5000K cool white for blue-range developmental stimulus. This four-channel architecture supports the full growth cycle — germination, vegetative establishment, and reproductive development — without requiring fixture swaps or supplemental bar additions for standard production runs. System efficacy is rated at 2.75 µmol/J, producing 1728 PPFD at the canopy surface across the rated footprint.
Thermal management is handled passively. The LED driver is raised above the aluminum heatsink frame on a thermal compound interface, allowing heat to conduct away from the diode array and dissipate through the heatsink without fans or active cooling components. This architecture eliminates acoustic output entirely and removes the mechanical failure mode that fan-cooled fixtures introduce over a 50,000-hour rated service life. The Digital Transition Controller — included with the fixture — governs output through 0–100% PWM dimming, programmable timer and cycle scheduling, sunrise/sunset transition curves, and backup memory that retains program state through power interruptions. Daisy-chain ports on the controller allow multi-fixture coordination from a single control point, reducing the per-fixture management overhead in multi-light rooms. In practical terms, the IONGRID T24 delivers 1728 PPFD across a 2 x 4 ft. canopy at 260W draw, operating across 100–277V AC at 50/60 Hz with a 50,000-hour rated LED lifespan.

Operator FAQ
Q: What amperage and circuit configuration does the IONGRID T24 require?
A: The IONGRID T24 draws 1.17A at 120V, 0.58A at 240V, and 0.51A at 277V. For single-fixture installations on 120V, a standard 15A dedicated circuit is sufficient. For multi-fixture deployments, calculate total amperage per circuit at your operating voltage and apply the 80% continuous load rule (NEC 210.19) before finalizing circuit sizing. Do not share circuits with high-draw equipment without verified load calculations from a licensed electrician.
Q: What controller is included, and what modes does it support?
A: The IONGRID T24 ships with AC Infinity's Digital Transition Controller. It supports 0–100% PWM dimming, programmable timer and cycle scheduling, sunrise/sunset transition curves, and backup memory that retains program state through power interruptions. The controller includes daisy-chain ports for coordinating multiple fixtures from a single control point. For app-based or multi-zone control, verify compatibility with AC Infinity UIS ecosystem controllers; expansion dongles for additional fixture integration are sold separately.
Q: What is the recommended mounting height for the IONGRID T24?
A: AC Infinity source data does not specify a single recommended mounting height for the IONGRID T24. The rated PPFD of 1728 µmol/m²/s is measured at the canopy surface across the 2 x 4 ft. footprint. Mounting height will affect PPFD delivery at the canopy; operators should use a calibrated PAR meter to verify canopy-level readings at their specific mounting height during initial commissioning. Rope hanging hardware is included to allow height adjustment. Contact Cannafull Spectrum Solutions at (888) 378-0017 or sales@cannafullspec.com for application-specific guidance.
Q: What are the vegetative and flowering coverage dimensions?
A: Per AC Infinity source data, the IONGRID T24 is rated for a 2 x 4 ft. coverage area for both vegetative and flowering stages. This coverage rating applies to the fixture operating at full output. Operators running reduced dimming levels should verify canopy PPFD with a PAR meter to confirm target DLI is being met at the reduced output setting.
Q: What is the rated lifespan, and what maintenance does the fixture require over that period?
A: The IONGRID T24 is rated for 50,000 hours of LED service life per AC Infinity source data. The passive thermal management system — raised driver over aluminum heatsink with thermal compound interface — contains no fans or moving parts, eliminating the primary mechanical failure mode in the thermal subsystem. Routine maintenance is limited to periodic cleaning of the heatsink surface to prevent dust accumulation that could impede passive heat dissipation. No lamp replacement cycles are required over the rated service life.
