Precision Control in Any Space.

Every uncontrolled variable inside a grow enclosure is a direct tax on output. Light leaks collapse photoperiod integrity and trigger stress responses that compress yield windows. Undersized poles — the 18mm standard found across most of the market — flex under full equipment loads, introducing micro-vibration and structural drift that destabilize mounted lighting and airflow hardware over time. Duct ports without proper cinching allow pressure differentials to break atmospheric seals, letting humidity, temperature, and CO2 levels drift outside target ranges between manual checks. The result is a facility that demands constant intervention and still delivers inconsistent results cycle after cycle.

After deployment, the picture changes. The enclosure holds its seal across the full 64 sq ft canopy floor, maintaining the atmospheric parameters set at the controller without manual correction between cycles. Equipment loads — lights, fans, environmental controllers — are distributed across a reinforced hanging infrastructure rated to carry the weight without structural compromise. Duct connections stay locked. Light integrity stays intact. The operator moves from reactive troubleshooting to scheduled maintenance, and the canopy responds with the consistency that only a stable environment can produce.

The mechanism behind that stability is material specification. The CLOUDLAB 899 is constructed from 2000D Oxford canvas — the thickest canvas rating in the CLOUDLAB line — with a 100% external lightproof rating enforced by a 500G light-proof layer and front zipper flaps that eliminate the edge-gap failures common to single-layer zipper designs. The interior is lined with reengineered diamond-pattern Mylar, lab-tested using an Agilent UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer for maximum light reflectivity, meaning every photon delivered by the lighting system is redirected back into the canopy rather than absorbed by the wall surface. The structural frame uses 22mm diameter steel poles — 22% larger in cross-section than the 18mm poles used in most competing enclosures — supporting a beam weight capacity of 250 lbs and a fan/light hanging capacity of 300 lbs across 8 primary hanging bars plus 8 additional bars. Atmospheric integration is handled through four 4-inch and four 8-inch duct openings with cinched ports, an integrated controller mounting plate with lightproof cable passthrough, and additional cinched duct ports sized for humidifiers, heaters, and A/C units. The observation window measures 13.78" x 39.37" (35 x 100 cm), providing a full canopy sightline without requiring door access. In practical terms, the CLOUDLAB 899 delivers a 100% lightproof, fully sealed atmospheric enclosure across a 94.48" x 94.48" x 78.74" interior volume with a 300 lb equipment support rating and integrated controller infrastructure at a MAP of $499.

Where This Belongs (and Doesn't)

Electrical circuit capacity, HVAC load calculations, and structural floor ratings for the installation space are the responsibility of the operator and qualified tradespeople. The CLOUDLAB 899 is an atmospheric enclosure, not a standalone electrical or HVAC system. Verify that your facility's circuit infrastructure supports the combined load of all equipment to be mounted inside this enclosure before deployment.

Optimal Deployment Environments

  • Dedicated indoor production rooms with controlled ambient temperature
  • Converted warehouse bays requiring full atmospheric isolation from adjacent spaces
  • Purpose-built craft cultivation suites with existing HVAC infrastructure
  • Multi-tent facilities where individual enclosure sealing is required for photoperiod management
  • Facilities running 16-plant (5-gallon) canopy configurations requiring 64 sq ft of enclosed floor space

Not Recommended For

  • Spaces where ambient humidity or temperature cannot be managed at the room level — the enclosure seals the environment but does not generate conditioned air independently
  • Installations where floor load ratings cannot support the combined weight of the enclosure, growing media, plants, and mounted equipment
  • Facilities requiring automated multi-zone environmental scheduling without a compatible controller ecosystem
  • Spaces with ceiling heights below the 78.74" (200 cm) interior height plus required clearance for ducting and electrical routing above the tent

How It Works

The CLOUDLAB 899 functions as a closed atmospheric cortex — a sealed volume in which every environmental parameter is determined by the operator's equipment and control inputs rather than by ambient room conditions. The enclosure achieves this through four interdependent material and structural systems that work in combination rather than independently.

Structural Frame: The primary frame is constructed from 22mm diameter steel poles, which are 22% larger in cross-section than the 18mm poles used as the market standard. This diameter increase is not cosmetic — it directly reduces pole flex under load, which matters when 250 lbs of beam-mounted equipment and 300 lbs of fan and lighting hardware are suspended from the 8 primary and 8 additional hanging bars. The multi-base assembly system distributes structural load across the base perimeter, preventing point-load failures at corner joints under sustained equipment weight.

Atmospheric Seal: The 2000D Oxford canvas outer layer is rated 100% externally lightproof. The interior is backed by a 500G light-proof layer, and the front access points use SBS-brand zippers with front zipper flaps as a secondary barrier against light intrusion at the seam. Reinforced tent corners and a heavy-duty floor catch tray complete the perimeter seal. The result is a zero-light-leak enclosure under standard operating conditions.

Reflectivity System: The interior walls are lined with reengineered diamond-pattern Mylar, lab-tested using an Agilent UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer. The diamond-pattern geometry distributes reflected photons across the canopy surface rather than creating hot-spot concentrations from flat-panel reflection. This means the lighting system's output is amplified by the enclosure walls rather than partially absorbed, increasing effective PPFD at the canopy without increasing fixture wattage.

Atmospheric Control Infrastructure: The CLOUDLAB 899 includes four 4-inch duct openings and four 8-inch duct openings for exhaust and intake routing. Additional cinched duct ports accommodate humidifiers, heaters, and A/C units without breaking the primary duct seal. The integrated controller mounting plate with lightproof cable passthrough allows environmental controllers to be mounted on the exterior of the enclosure with cable runs passing through a sealed port — eliminating the light-leak and seal-compromise issues associated with routing cables through standard duct openings. The observation window (13.78" x 39.37" / 35 x 100 cm) and dual side doors provide canopy access and visual monitoring without requiring full door opening. Rear intake holes measure 5.90" x 13.77" (15 x 35 cm) and side intake holes measure 5.90" x 13.77" (15 x 35 cm). In practical terms, the CLOUDLAB 899 delivers a fully sealed, reflectivity-optimized atmospheric enclosure measuring 94.48" x 94.48" x 78.74" with 22mm steel pole construction, 300 lb equipment support capacity, and integrated controller mounting infrastructure supporting up to 16 plants in 5-gallon containers.

Operator Field Notes

  • Controller Plate Routing: Route all environmental controller cables through the integrated lightproof cable passthrough on the controller mounting plate — do not route cables through duct openings. Cables routed through duct openings compromise the atmospheric seal and create light-leak pathways at the cinch point.
  • Pole Load Distribution: The 22mm steel poles support 250 lbs of beam-mounted weight and 300 lbs of fan/light hanging weight, but load distribution across the 8 primary and 8 additional hanging bars matters. Concentrate heavy fixture loads at bar intersections rather than mid-span to minimize deflection under sustained weight.
  • Zipper Maintenance: SBS zippers are specified for smooth, jam-free operation, but zipper longevity is directly tied to keeping the zipper track free of debris, salt deposits from nutrient spray, and particulate buildup. Wipe zipper tracks with a dry cloth after each canopy access event during active cycles.
  • Duct Port Cinching: All duct ports should be cinched to the minimum diameter that accommodates the duct without restricting airflow. Over-cinching collapses flexible ducting and creates back-pressure; under-cinching allows light intrusion and atmospheric bleed at the port collar.
  • Floor Tray Inspection: The heavy-duty catch tray should be inspected for standing water after each irrigation event. Standing water in the tray creates humidity load inside the enclosure that is not accounted for in the environmental controller's baseline readings — drain the tray as part of the post-irrigation protocol.
  • Assembly Sequence: The CLOUDLAB 899 uses a multi-base assembly system. Complete the base frame assembly and verify all pole connections are fully seated before attaching the canvas — attempting to fit the canvas over a partially assembled frame stresses the corner reinforcements and zipper attachment points.

Operator FAQ

Q: What is the actual interior usable dimension of the CLOUDLAB 899, and how does it differ from the advertised 8x8 footprint?

A: The CLOUDLAB 899's interior dimensions are 94.48" x 94.48" x 78.74" (240 x 240 x 200 cm). The "8x8" designation refers to the approximate footprint in feet (96" x 96"), while the actual measured interior is 94.48" x 94.48". The difference accounts for canvas wall thickness and structural frame clearance. Plan your canopy layout and equipment placement using the 94.48" x 94.48" figure, not the nominal 8x8 designation, to avoid interference with the interior wall lining.

Q: What is the difference between the 250 lb beam weight capacity and the 300 lb fan/light weight capacity?

A: These are two distinct load ratings for two distinct structural elements. The 250 lb beam weight capacity refers to the maximum load the horizontal cross-beam poles can support at their midspan — this applies to equipment hung directly from the structural frame poles. The 300 lb fan/light weight capacity refers to the total combined weight of all fans and lighting fixtures that can be suspended from the hanging bars (8 primary + 8 additional). Do not conflate these ratings — verify which structural element your equipment is mounted to and apply the corresponding limit.

Q: How does the integrated controller mounting plate work, and which controllers is it compatible with?

A: The controller mounting plate is a steel plate integrated into the exterior of the enclosure. It is designed to physically mount fan and lighting controllers on the outside of the tent, with a lightproof cable passthrough port that allows control cables to enter the enclosure interior without creating a light-leak pathway. The plate is designed with AC Infinity's UIS (Universal Intelligence System) ecosystem in mind, including their environmental controllers and fan speed controllers. Compatibility with third-party controllers depends on the physical mounting dimensions of the controller unit — verify mounting hole spacing against the plate dimensions before purchasing non-AC Infinity controllers for use with this plate.

Q: What duct sizes does the CLOUDLAB 899 support, and how many openings are available?

A: The CLOUDLAB 899 includes four 4-inch duct openings and four 8-inch duct openings, for a total of eight primary duct ports. Additionally, there are rear intake holes measuring 5.90" x 13.77" (15 x 35 cm) and side intake holes also measuring 5.90" x 13.77" (15 x 35 cm). Separate cinched duct ports are provided for supplemental climate equipment such as humidifiers, heaters, and A/C units. All duct ports use cinching collars to maintain the atmospheric seal around the duct material.

Q: How was the interior Mylar reflectivity tested, and what does "maximum light reflectivity" mean in measurable terms?

A: AC Infinity states that the reengineered diamond-pattern Mylar interior lining was lab-tested using an Agilent UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer — a laboratory-grade instrument used to measure reflectance across ultraviolet, visible, and near-infrared wavelengths. The manufacturer's claim is that this testing confirmed the highest light reflectivity among grow tents in their testing comparison. Cannafull Spectrum Solutions presents this claim as stated by the manufacturer. Specific reflectance percentage values from the Agilent testing are not published in the available source documentation — contact AC Infinity directly for the full spectrophotometer test report if your facility requires documented reflectance data for compliance or optimization records.

Q: Can the CLOUDLAB 899 be used in a perpetual harvest configuration with separate veg and flower zones?

A: The CLOUDLAB 899 (AC-CBA899) is a single-chamber enclosure and does not include a dividing wall. It is not configured for dual-zone perpetual harvest operation within a single unit. For operators requiring simultaneous veg and flower photoperiod management within a single enclosure footprint, AC Infinity's CLOUDLAB D-series (dual-chamber models with dividing wall) is the appropriate product category. The 899 is optimized for single-zone operation across its full 94.48" x 94.48" interior footprint, supporting up to 16 plants in 5-gallon containers under a unified photoperiod schedule.
