Precision Control in Any Space
Every uncontrolled variable inside a grow enclosure is a compounding liability. Thin-walled tents flex under equipment load, creating micro-gaps that bleed light and destabilize photoperiod integrity. Undersized poles deflect under the combined weight of lighting, filtration, and climate hardware — not catastrophically, but enough to shift mounting angles, alter airflow patterns, and introduce the kind of low-grade inconsistency that erodes output cycle after cycle. Poorly sealed zipper systems and inadequate canvas density allow ambient light intrusion that disrupts dark periods without triggering any visible alarm. The operator adjusts inputs, chases symptoms, and never isolates the structural enclosure as the source of variance. The equipment is not failing loudly — it is failing quietly, every run.
After deployment, the enclosure becomes a non-variable. The atmospheric boundary holds. Photoperiod integrity is maintained by a 100% external lightproof design with front zipper flaps as a secondary light-leak barrier. Climate hardware mounts to a dedicated steel controller plate with a lightproof cable passthrough — no improvised cord routing, no penetration gaps. Humidifiers, heaters, and A/C units connect through additional cinched duct ports without compromising the sealed perimeter. The operator stops managing the enclosure and starts managing the crop.
The mechanism behind that stability is structural specification. The CLOUDLAB 816 is constructed from 2000D Oxford canvas on the exterior with a diamond-patterned Mylar interior, lab-tested via Agilent UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer for maximum light reflectivity. The frame uses 22mm steel poles — measurably thicker than the 18mm standard found in most competing enclosures — with a beam weight capacity of 250 lbs and a total system load capacity of 300 lbs (fans and lights combined). The 118.11" x 59.05" x 78.74" interior accommodates 12 plants in 5-gallon containers across a 300.0 x 150.0 x 200.0 cm footprint, with 4 primary hanging bars plus 4 extra, 6 x 4-inch duct openings, 2 x 8-inch duct openings, and 4 x 10-inch duct openings for full HVAC integration. In practical terms, the CLOUDLAB 816 delivers a sealed, lightproof 10x5 atmospheric enclosure with a 250 lb beam capacity and 300 lb total system load across a 118.11" x 59.05" x 78.74" footprint at MAP pricing of $449.
Where This Belongs (and Doesn't)
Electrical and HVAC integration must be performed in accordance with applicable local codes. Duct port sizing and controller wiring should be verified against the connected equipment's rated specifications before deployment. Cannafull Spectrum Solutions does not provide electrical or mechanical installation services.
Optimal Deployment Environments
- Dedicated indoor cultivation rooms requiring year-round climate isolation
- Multi-stage production setups where a 10x5 footprint (300 x 150 cm) is allocated per canopy zone
- Facilities running AC Infinity controller ecosystems requiring integrated mounting and lightproof cable management
- Operations requiring 12-plant (5-gallon) capacity with full HVAC port access (4-inch, 8-inch, and 10-inch openings)
- Environments where photoperiod integrity is non-negotiable and light-leak elimination is a baseline requirement
Not Recommended For
- Outdoor or semi-outdoor installations where UV degradation and moisture ingress are uncontrolled
- Applications requiring equipment loads exceeding 300 lbs total system capacity
- Spaces where the 118.11" x 59.05" x 78.74" footprint cannot be fully deployed without obstruction
- Facilities requiring dual-door access configurations (see CLOUDLAB D-series variants)
How It Works
The CLOUDLAB 816's performance architecture begins at the structural layer. The 22mm steel pole system — reinforced at every corner junction — carries a beam weight capacity of 250 lbs, with the total system load rated at 300 lbs when fans, lighting, and ancillary hardware are combined. This is not a marginal upgrade over the 18mm standard; it is a 22% increase in pole cross-section that directly reduces deflection under sustained load. The frame connects through thick steel tube connectors, and reinforced tent corners distribute stress away from the canvas attachment points, preventing the corner-tear failure mode common in lighter-gauge enclosures.
The atmospheric seal is maintained through three independent systems. First, the 2000D Oxford outer canvas provides the primary structural and light-blocking barrier — 2000D density represents a thread count specification that directly correlates to puncture resistance and long-term dimensional stability. Second, the 500G light-proof layer and front zipper flaps provide a secondary barrier against ambient light intrusion at the highest-risk penetration point: the access door. Third, SBS-rated zippers deliver smooth, jam-free operation that preserves the seal integrity at every access cycle without the zipper-track deformation that degrades lighter zipper systems over time.
Interior photon management is handled by the diamond-patterned Mylar lining, which has been lab-tested using an Agilent UV-Vis-NIR Spectrophotometer to verify maximum light reflectivity performance. The diamond pattern geometry distributes reflected photons more uniformly across the canopy plane than flat-surface Mylar, reducing hot-spot concentration and improving canopy-level light uniformity without any additional hardware. The controller mounting plate — a steel-fabricated panel with a lightproof cable passthrough — provides a fixed, sealed integration point for AC Infinity and compatible environmental controllers, eliminating improvised cord routing that creates light-leak vectors. Duct port inventory includes 6 x 4-inch, 2 x 8-inch, and 4 x 10-inch openings, with rear intake holes at 5.90 x 13.77 inches (15.0 x 35.0 cm) and side intake holes at 5.90 x 13.77 inches (15.0 x 35.0 cm), providing full routing flexibility for inline fans, carbon filters, humidifiers, heaters, and A/C units. The observation window measures 13.77 x 39.37 inches (35.0 x 100.0 cm), providing a full canopy sightline without requiring door access. In practical terms, the CLOUDLAB 816 delivers a 300 lb-rated sealed enclosure with diamond Mylar reflectivity, 22mm steel structural framing, and 12-port HVAC access across a 118.11" x 59.05" x 78.74" atmospheric footprint.

Operator Field Notes
- Pole gauge matters at load: The 22mm steel poles carry a 250 lb beam rating. Operators running dual-fixture lighting arrays plus inline fan hardware should calculate combined suspension weight before finalizing mounting configurations — the 300 lb total system load ceiling includes all suspended and resting equipment.
- Zipper longevity protocol: SBS-rated zippers maintain seal integrity under repeated cycling, but operators should avoid forcing the zipper track when canvas is under tension from internal pressure differentials. Equalize pressure before opening during active negative-pressure ventilation cycles.
- Controller plate integration: The lightproof cable passthrough on the controller mounting plate is sized for AC Infinity UIS controller cabling. Third-party controller cables with non-standard connector profiles may require adapter sleeves to maintain the lightproof seal at the passthrough point.
- Duct port selection: The 10-inch ports are positioned for primary inline fan and carbon filter connections. The 4-inch ports are suited for supplemental humidity and temperature control equipment. Map your HVAC routing plan against the port inventory (6 x 4-inch, 2 x 8-inch, 4 x 10-inch) before equipment procurement to avoid port conflicts.
- Floor tray containment: The heavy-duty catch tray is designed for incidental overflow, not sustained irrigation runoff. Operations using automated drip or flood-and-drain systems should verify tray capacity against their irrigation volume per cycle and supplement with external containment if required.
- Canvas inspection cadence: The 2000D Oxford outer layer is rated for long-term structural stability, but operators should inspect seam integrity and zipper-flap alignment at the start of each new production cycle to confirm the lightproof boundary has not been compromised by equipment contact or repositioning.
Operator FAQ
Q: What is the actual interior working height of the CLOUDLAB 816, and does it accommodate vertical training systems?
A: The CLOUDLAB 816 interior height is 78.74 inches (200.0 cm). This provides sufficient vertical clearance for most vertical training and screen-of-green configurations when lighting is suspended from the 22mm steel hanging bars. Operators should account for the fixture suspension height, canopy training hardware, and any overhead ducting when calculating usable vertical working space within the 78.74-inch envelope.
Q: Can the CLOUDLAB 816 support two full-size LED fixtures simultaneously on the hanging bars?
A: The beam weight capacity is rated at 250 lbs, with a total system load capacity of 300 lbs (fans and lights combined). Whether two fixtures can be suspended simultaneously depends on the combined weight of those specific fixtures plus any other suspended hardware. Operators should sum the weight of all suspended equipment — fixtures, inline fans, carbon filters, and trellis systems — and confirm the total remains within the 250 lb beam rating and 300 lb system load ceiling before finalizing the configuration.
Q: How many duct ports are available, and what sizes are they?
A: The CLOUDLAB 816 includes twelve duct openings: six 4-inch ports, two 8-inch ports, and four 10-inch ports. In addition, the rear intake hole measures 5.90 x 13.77 inches (15.0 x 35.0 cm) and the side intake hole measures 5.90 x 13.77 inches (15.0 x 35.0 cm). The controller mounting plate also includes additional duct ports specifically for humidifiers, heaters, and A/C units, providing routing flexibility without requiring operators to repurpose primary ventilation ports.
Q: Is the CLOUDLAB 816 compatible with third-party environmental controllers, or is it designed exclusively for AC Infinity systems?
A: The integrated controller mounting plate is designed for AC Infinity and compatible controllers, with an oval opening for secure cord routing and mounting options that include both hardware mount and magnetic mount configurations. Third-party controllers that fall within the physical mounting dimensions and cable routing profile of the oval passthrough can be used, but operators should verify connector compatibility and passthrough seal integrity when using non-AC Infinity hardware to ensure the lightproof boundary is maintained at the cable entry point.
Q: What is the difference between the 250 lb beam weight capacity and the 300 lb load capacity listed in the specifications?
A: These are two distinct load ratings. The 250 lb beam weight capacity refers specifically to the maximum load that can be suspended from the hanging bars — this covers fixtures, fans, filters, and any other equipment attached directly to the overhead bar system. The 300 lb total system load capacity represents the combined weight of all equipment the tent structure is rated to support, including fans and lights together. Operators should treat the 250 lb figure as the ceiling for suspended hardware and the 300 lb figure as the overall structural limit for the complete equipment configuration.
Q: Does the CLOUDLAB 816 ship assembled, or does it require on-site assembly?
A: The CLOUDLAB 816 ships disassembled and requires on-site assembly. The frame uses thick 22mm steel tubes and connectors that are designed for tool-free assembly. Operators should allocate adequate floor space equal to or greater than the 118.11" x 59.05" footprint during the assembly process before raising the structure to its full 78.74" height. Assembly instructions are included with the unit. Contact Cannafull Spectrum Solutions if assembly documentation is missing from your shipment.
