The Alien Hydroponics V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit is a recirculating deep water culture irrigation system engineered for craft operators who require consistent, repeatable nutrient delivery across a 9-plant canopy without the overhead of custom-fabricated plumbing.
- Outcome: Uniform dissolved oxygen and nutrient concentration delivered to every root zone simultaneously, eliminating plant-to-plant variance driven by inconsistent feed pressure or manual top-off schedules.
- Replaces: Piecemeal drain-to-waste setups, manually managed reservoir systems, and multi-component RDWC builds assembled from unmatched parts.
- Environment: Dedicated cultivation rooms, controlled-environment grow suites, and multi-tier production facilities operating within a defined footprint.
FACTORY-AUTHORIZED DEALER — CANNAFULL SPECTRUM SOLUTIONS
Deployed in licensed commercial facilities across the United States.
Quick Spec: 9-plant RDWC | 146.3 gal / 553.8 L total fluid volume | 15 gal (58L) V-POT capacity | 4 configurable layouts | 65¾" consistent width | Pot size options: 5 gal / 20L or 9.5 gal / 36L
Precision Control in Any Space
Every facility that has run mismatched irrigation components knows the cost — not just in lost yield, but in the hours spent chasing pH drift, diagnosing uneven root development, and manually compensating for a system that was never designed to work as a unit. Guesswork and equipment that fights you are not minor inconveniences; they are compounding operational liabilities. When nutrient concentration varies pot to pot, when dissolved oxygen levels drop because the circulation architecture was an afterthought, and when a single clogged line means pulling plants to diagnose the failure, the system itself becomes the bottleneck. That silent cost accumulates across every cycle, in every room where the infrastructure was assembled rather than engineered.
After deployment, the operational picture changes fundamentally. Nine root zones receive identical nutrient solution simultaneously, circulated through a closed recirculating loop that maintains dissolved oxygen saturation without a separate air pump. The reservoir maintains its level automatically via an integrated float valve, removing manual top-off from the daily task list entirely. Operators move through the room with full aisle access between rows, inspect root zones through dedicated inspection covers without disturbing the canopy, and drain the entire system completely when the cycle ends — no residual solution pooling, no contamination carryover. The facility runs on a repeatable process, not on operator vigilance compensating for equipment limitations.
The mechanism behind that outcome is a purpose-built RDWC architecture. The JET-STREAM® Vortex™ pump drives solution through 5" spiral tubing and 5" Dual-Flow™ fittings, delivering direct nutrient distribution to each of the 9 V-POTs — each rated at 15 gallons (58L) — while Venturi injectors maintain maximum oxygen saturation throughout the loop without requiring a secondary air pump. Integrated filtration protects the pump and fittings from particulate accumulation. T304 stainless clamps and push-fit feed connections ensure leak-free assembly and disassembly without specialized tooling. The kit supports four distinct layout configurations across a consistent 65¾" width, with variant-specific lengths ranging from 76⅜" (MIH) to 95½" (MOL), and accommodates both compact and remote header placement to match existing room geometry. In practical terms, the V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit circulates 146.3 gallons / 553.8 liters of total fluid volume across a 9-plant recirculating deep water culture system in four configurable footprint options, with pot size selection of 5 gal / 20L or 9.5 gal / 36L per site.
Where This Belongs (and Doesn't)
Note: Plumbing, drainage, and water supply connections must comply with applicable local codes and facility infrastructure requirements. Consult a licensed plumber or facility engineer before installation where required by jurisdiction.
Designed For
- Dedicated cultivation rooms with defined canopy footprints requiring 9-plant RDWC capacity
- Facilities transitioning from drain-to-waste or passive reservoir systems to recirculating infrastructure
- Operators who require complete plant access without dismantling the irrigation layout
- Rooms where floor geometry demands configurable system length — MIH (76⅜"), MOL (95½"), MOR (93⅞"), or MSP (92⅜") — within a 65¾" width envelope
- Production environments where automated reservoir top-off and total-drainage capability are operational requirements
Not the Right Fit For
- Facilities requiring more than 9 plant sites in a single system run — consider scaling to a larger V-SYSTEM configuration
- Environments without access to a stable water supply line compatible with the integrated float valve top-off mechanism
- Operators requiring a top-feed or true drain-to-waste architecture — this system is recirculating deep water culture by design
- Rooms where total floor footprint cannot accommodate a minimum 65¾" width across any of the four variant lengths
How It Works
The V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit operates as a closed recirculating deep water culture loop. Solution is drawn from the central reservoir — total system fluid volume of 146.3 gallons / 553.8 liters — and driven by the JET-STREAM® Vortex™ pump through 5" spiral tubing to each of the nine V-POT sites. The 5" Dual-Flow™ fittings manage bidirectional flow within the loop, ensuring that solution velocity and nutrient concentration remain consistent from the first pot to the last. Venturi injectors integrated into the flow path introduce dissolved oxygen directly into the circulating solution, eliminating the need for a separate air pump while maintaining maximum oxygen saturation at the root zone. Integrated filtration upstream of the pump protects the system from particulate accumulation that would otherwise degrade flow rate and oxygen delivery over time.
Each V-POT carries a 15-gallon (58L) capacity and accepts either a 5 gal / 20L or 9.5 gal / 36L pot insert, giving operators the ability to match container volume to crop requirements without changing the system architecture. Total-drainage bases allow complete evacuation of solution at cycle end — no residual pooling, no manual bailing. Inspection covers provide direct visual and physical access to the root zone and fittings without disturbing adjacent plants or disconnecting plumbing. T304 stainless clamps and push-fit feed connections allow the system to be assembled, disassembled, and reassembled without specialized tooling, supporting rapid teardown between cycles. The float valve maintains reservoir level automatically, removing manual top-off from the daily operational checklist. In practical terms, the V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit delivers recirculating dissolved oxygen saturation and direct nutrient distribution across 9 plant sites within a total fluid volume of 146.3 gallons / 553.8 liters, supported by integrated filtration, total-drainage bases, and push-fit assembly across four configurable layout footprints.
Configuration Decoder — V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit Variants
All four variants share identical plant capacity (9 plants), V-POT capacity (15 gal / 58L), total fluid volume (146.3 gal / 553.8 L), width (65¾"), pot size options (5 gal / 20L or 9.5 gal / 36L), header placement options (Compact or Remote), and layout count (4). The only differentiating dimension is system length, which is determined by the variant code selected at order. Select the variant whose length fits your room's available run.
| Variant Code | System Length | Width | Configuration Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| MIH | 76⅜" | 65¾" | Shortest footprint; suited for rooms with constrained run length |

Operator Field Notes
- Variant selection is a room measurement decision, not a preference: Measure your available floor run before ordering. The four variants (MIH at 76⅜", MSP at 92⅜", MOR at 93⅞", MOL at 95½") are not interchangeable after delivery. All share the same 65¾" width.
- The float valve eliminates top-off labor, but requires a reliable supply line: Confirm your facility water supply is stable and appropriately pressured before relying on automated top-off as part of your daily operations protocol.
- Total-drainage bases are a sanitation asset: Full cycle-end evacuation removes the residual solution that drives pathogen carryover between runs. Build complete drain-down into your standard operating procedure at every harvest.
- No air pump does not mean no oxygen management: Venturi injectors handle dissolved oxygen saturation through the recirculating flow. Maintain pump function and flow rate — if the JET-STREAM® Vortex™ pump underperforms, oxygen delivery degrades across all 9 sites simultaneously.
- Inspection covers are a diagnostic tool: Use them on a scheduled basis, not just when problems are visible. Early detection of root zone issues at individual sites prevents system-wide solution contamination in a recirculating loop.
- Push-fit connections support rapid teardown: The assembly architecture is designed for disassembly between cycles. Operators who build teardown and reassembly into their cycle schedule maintain fitting integrity longer than those who leave the system assembled continuously across multiple runs.
Operator FAQ
Q: What is the total fluid volume of the V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit, and why does it matter for nutrient management?
A: The V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit holds 146.3 gallons / 553.8 liters of total fluid volume across the system. In a recirculating deep water culture architecture, total fluid volume directly affects solution stability — larger volumes buffer against rapid pH and EC swings caused by plant uptake or evaporation. This means operators have more time between adjustments and more consistent root zone chemistry across all 9 plant sites. It also means that any contamination event affects the entire volume, which is why total-drainage capability and cycle-end sanitation protocols are operationally critical.
Q: How do I choose between the four variant configurations (MIH, MOL, MOR, MSP)?
A: The variant code determines the system's length. MIH is the shortest at 76⅜", MSP is 92⅜", MOR is 93⅞", and MOL is the longest at 95½". All four variants are 65¾" wide and share identical plant capacity, fluid volume, and component specifications. Select the variant whose length fits your room's available floor run. All variants support both Compact and Remote header placement and all four layout options. Measure your space before ordering — variants are not interchangeable after shipment.
Q: Why does the V-SYSTEM not require an air pump, and is dissolved oxygen delivery reliable without one?
A: The V-SYSTEM uses Venturi injectors integrated into the recirculating flow path to introduce dissolved oxygen directly into the solution as it moves through the system. Venturi injection is driven by the pressure differential created by the JET-STREAM® Vortex™ pump — no secondary air pump is required. Dissolved oxygen delivery is therefore dependent on maintaining proper pump function and flow rate. If pump performance degrades, oxygen saturation across all 9 sites will be affected. Regular pump inspection and maintenance are essential to sustaining the oxygen delivery mechanism the system is designed around.
Q: What pot sizes are compatible with the V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit, and does pot size affect system performance?
A: The V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit accepts either 5 gal / 20L or 9.5 gal / 36L pot inserts within each V-POT site. The V-POT itself has a 15-gallon (58L) capacity. Pot size selection affects root zone volume and the ratio of growing medium to solution — operators running larger canopy plants or longer vegetative periods typically benefit from the 9.5 gal / 36L option, while tighter production cycles may be better served by the 5 gal / 20L configuration. The system's recirculating architecture and total fluid volume remain constant regardless of pot size selection.
Q: What does "Compact or Remote" header placement mean, and which should I choose?
A: Header placement refers to where the system's main distribution header — the component that routes solution from the reservoir to the individual pot lines — is positioned relative to the pot array. Compact placement positions the header close to the pot rows, minimizing the system's overall footprint. Remote placement allows the header to be located at a distance from the pot rows, which can be advantageous when room geometry requires the reservoir or pump to be positioned away from the canopy area, or when operator access to the header needs to be separated from the plant zone. The correct choice depends on your room layout, reservoir placement, and access requirements.
Q: Is the V-SYSTEM 9 Pot Kit covered by a manufacturer warranty, and what is the return policy?
A: Warranty terms for SKU BD100-0004 are not specified in available source data. Contact Cannafull Spectrum Solutions at cannafullspec.com before purchase to obtain current manufacturer warranty documentation. For returns, non-defective items are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% per our Return Policy. Full terms are available at cannafullspec.com/pages/return-policy.
